A Time In Tomorrow

Broken wares shattered down time
Himself from the reflection he saw
Little mirrors of what he could be
Amidst sorrowful slumber did he stay awake

Chasing after the scented waters
Insomnia was his very bed mate
Memories of how they were but shattered
Back to the beginning yet another time

Staring at those tadpoles
Excelling in all but stinking stagnant water
As robust as they could be
He thought even in his thinking

About and around they seemed happy
Dancing from all over the place
They seemed to be without worries
Of so little value, they were yet merry

Moments of rest the heart needs
Only if they lasted a bit longer
Such times to be fully enjoyed
'Cos they go as quickly as they come

An unexpected deviation
The mind indeed could have 'a mind of it's own'
Fleeting moments of no worries
The mind gives the times you least expect

But reality once more he had in front
This facade no more will he need
Everyday as it comes, will he take
Convicted of the fact that things' will of a surety change
